What Is Real Success?
And did we really know what it was?
What is the difference between a rich and a wealthy person?
A rich person and a wealthy person both have A LOT of money, they can buy luxurious items, cars, watches… But there is one aspect that makes the difference.
Rich people work for money, be it a job, a business…
Wealthy people have money working for them.
One thing is:
We all aim to become better. But we do not all aim for the same standard of success. Why is that?
Many people nowadays struggle in their journey because they don’t really like their aim, they aren’t convinced that it will make them successful.
Remember this quote: The mind controls the body.
Wealth is not synonym to abundance of money. Let us imagine a scenario:
A rich person having an income of 20k$/month but with that comes sleepless nights, 12-hour shifts, high taxes, paying your high standard lifestyle so you do not fall off the class …
Now imagine the rich person abruptly stopped his work. He got fired, extremely sick, too old…
His money is temporary, now, his only income which gave him tons of money will fade off. He will not be able to pay for his luxurious life anymore. He lost it.
A wealthy person with just half the income i.e., 10k$/month. No taxes, can still buy what he wants, does not work 12-hour shifts, nor have sleepless nights. He cannot get fired, nor worry about old age because his income works for him.
So how can I be wealthy? How can I know I am wealthy?
There are a few ways you can achieve wealth.
Make money work for you.
Achieve a sustainable and secure income.
Minimize your work hours while boosting your productivity.
Emphasize strengths, not weaknesses. by Tim Ferriss
To make money work for you, you must first understand how money works.
That must be your task. But I will simplify it for you:
— To attract money, you need to know how to buy assets that multiply in value quicker over time, generating a bigger profit. And when to buy these assets. —
By understanding how money works, you can easily achieve a secure income.
To minimize your work time, start by studying how your current work or business is functioning, and how you can use a little bit of time to boost your productivity.
(Unfortunately, this is hard for 9 to 5’s since they are more focused on the work hours than on the workflow.)
By emphasizing strengths in your business, you allow it to naturally niche down to what fits your best ideas. On the other hand, if you try correcting all your weaknesses, you will waste a lot of time and make productivity harder eventually.
To summarize:
The difference between a rich and a wealthy person lies in how they manage their money:
Rich people work for money, whether through a job or business. Their wealth is tied to their active income, which can be unstable if they stop working.
Wealthy people have money working for them. Their income is more passive and sustainable, allowing them to maintain their lifestyle without working long hours.
Wealth is not just about having a lot of money but having financial security and freedom. Rich individuals might earn high incomes but also face high expenses and job-related stress. If they lose their job or face health issues, their income and lifestyle can be severely affected. Conversely, wealthy individuals have passive income streams that continue to generate money regardless of their active involvement.

Success is the sum of small efforts - repeated day in and day out.

I agree with you! Having a balance with money is better than no balance and more money. I do think that nowadays your initiative and willingness to commit is what matters in setting you up for success, and I think a lot of people might not think so because they only see the results of successful people when they look online. Great stuff! Looking forward to read more. Another book I would recommend for laying the groundwork for the mindset of an effective and successful person is '7 Habits of highly effective people'. I strongly recommend this book for anyone wanting to make the most of their lives and live it happily.
